Great Tubescreamer-style boost from the Jekyll side. Can go from clean to nice creamy overdrive. Use it to coax your clean channel into breakup, or slam the front end of a raging amp for that classic sound.
For 2x the versatility add Mr. Hyde to the equation. Deep, smooth Recto-style distortion, watch the palm mutes split the earth and the pinch harmonics zing!
If you're really brave, stack the two together! I've found this works pretty well using the Jekyll side for lighter drive, then kicking in the Hyde side as well for a big boost. Or you can try the other way round, but I personally haven't.
Looking to sell or trade for just a single overdrive/boost pedal. Although the Hyde side certainly does a sound that my current Marshall doesn't, I'm just not really using those tones at the moment so... simplify, simplify!
Cosmetic condition is well loved, scratches and whatnot, but it's grey so it's not as noticeable, and who the hell cares anyway?? Battery cover is intact. Will come with spanky new battery I just bought for it.
